How I Built a Creative Business in Cache Valley (and Helped Build a Few More)

A camera, a pottery wheel and a construction crew. This is the story of the three businesses Adam and I have built in Cache Valley, and why they all come back to making things that last.

The short version

Together with my partner Adam, I run a small family of businesses: Sarah Rasmussen Productions for photo and video, Corbridge Pottery for handmade ceramics, and Corbridge Construction for custom homes and remodels. Each one feeds the others, and all three are about connection, quality and craft.

  • Sarah Rasmussen Productions: brand video, food and product photos, social content
  • Corbridge Pottery: wild Cache Valley clays and a salt kiln in progress
  • Corbridge Construction: custom homes, remodels and detailed craftsmanship

A creative life rooted in Cache Valley

If there is one thing I have learned as a creative, it is that small-town stories can make the biggest impact. From the smell of fresh clay in the studio to the hum of a construction site to the click of my shutter, creativity shows up in everything we do.

Together with my partner, Adam, I have built a small collection of businesses that share one idea: making things that last. A handcrafted mug, a family home, or a brand film that brings someone's story to life. Our work is about connection, quality and craft.

Sarah Rasmussen Productions

I started Sarah Rasmussen Productions to help businesses and couples tell their stories through film and photography. I specialize in brand videography, food and product photography, and social media content for small businesses across Northern Utah and Southern Idaho.

My goal is simple: help brands look the way they feel. From cinematic restaurant Reels to full brand story videos, I mix creativity with strategy so businesses connect with their audience honestly. I have been lucky to work with local favorites like Polar Bear Eats, Crust Club and Hemsley Ranch, capturing the craft and heart behind what they do.

Whether I'm behind the camera at sunrise in the canyon or editing Reels late at night with a cup of coffee, storytelling is always at the center.

Corbridge Pottery

Adam's business, Corbridge Pottery, is where craftsmanship meets creativity. He is a Utah potter who fell in love with ceramics years ago, and now he is building a salt kiln and experimenting with wild clays from around Cache Valley to make his own glazes.

His work is raw, natural and inspired by the land we live on: earthy tones, textured surfaces and a quiet beauty that tells its own story. You will often find him throwing in the studio, loading the kiln or filming slow, meditative clips for social media. For him pottery is about process, patience and passion, not just function.

Clay, wood, concrete: they are all forms of creation.

Corbridge Construction

Beyond art and film there is Corbridge Construction, Adam's family-run construction business. They specialize in custom homes, remodels and the detailed craftsmanship that turns blueprints into places where life happens.

What I love most is how much heart goes into every project. It is not just building houses; it is creating spaces for families, creativity and connection. The crossover between construction and art is a big part of what makes our world so inspiring.

How it all connects

  • I create photo and video that showcases both the pottery and the construction projects.
  • The pottery studio becomes a creative backdrop for shoots, social content and collaborations.
  • The construction side brings the craftsmanship and structure that shape both our artistic and professional work.

It is a balance of art and work, visuals and materials, storytelling and making. That is the heartbeat of everything we do.

Why we love what we do

Cache Valley has given us room to grow, build and create, surrounded by mountains, small businesses and people who care deeply about their craft. We love working with local makers, business owners and dreamers. Whether it is building a home, making art or growing a brand, the goal is the same: make something that matters.

Business Tip

If you run more than one business, or one business with several sides, let them borrow from each other. A behind-the-scenes post from one can introduce followers to the other, and a shared story is easier for people to remember than two separate ones.

If you are a small business owner, creative or entrepreneur in Logan, Cache Valley, Preston or beyond, we would love to connect. Brand visuals, a handmade mug or a home built from the ground up, there is a place for you here.

I run Sarah Rasmussen Productions from Logan and photograph and film restaurants, shops, and brands across Logan, Cache Valley and Southern Idaho, from short menu sessions to full brand days.
