How I Built a Creative Business in Cache Valley (and Helped Build a Few More)

By Sarah Rasmussen – Videographer, Photographer, and Creative Storyteller

A Creative Life Rooted in Cache Valley

If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a creative, it’s that small-town stories can make the biggest impact.
From the smell of fresh clay in the studio to the hum of a construction site or the click of my camera shutter, creativity has a way of showing up in everything we do.

Together with my partner, Adam, we’ve built a collection of businesses that all share one thing in common — creating things that last. Whether it’s a handcrafted mug, a family home, or a brand film that brings someone’s story to life, our work is about connection, quality, and craft.

Sarah Rasmussen Productions

I started Sarah Rasmussen Productions to help businesses and couples tell their stories through film and photography. Based in Logan, Utah, I specialize in brand videography, food and product photography, and social media content creation for small businesses across Northern Utah and Southern Idaho.

My goal is simple: to help brands look like they feel. From cinematic restaurant reels to full brand story videos, I combine creativity with strategy to help businesses connect with their audience authentically.

I’ve been lucky to work with local favorites like Polar Bear Eats, Crust Club, and Hemsley Ranch, capturing visuals that showcase their craft and heart.

Whether I’m behind the camera at sunrise in the canyon or editing reels late at night with a cup of coffee, storytelling is always at the center of what I do.

Corbridge Pottery

Adam’s business, Corbridge Pottery, is where craftsmanship meets creativity.
He’s a Utah potter who fell in love with ceramics years ago — now he’s building a salt kiln and experimenting with wild clays from around Cache Valley to create his own glazes.

His work is raw, natural, and inspired by the land we live on. Each piece feels like it belongs here — earthy tones, textured surfaces, and a quiet beauty that tells its own story.

You can often find him throwing pots in the studio, loading the kiln, or filming slow, meditative clips for social media. His pottery isn’t just about function — it’s about process, patience, and passion.

Corbridge Construction

Beyond the art and film, there’s also Corbridge Construction — Adam’s family-run construction business.
They specialize in custom homes, remodels, and detailed craftsmanship that turns blueprints into places where life happens.

What I love most about his work is how much heart goes into every project. It’s not just building houses — it’s creating spaces for families, creativity, and connection. And honestly, the crossover between construction and art is what makes our world so inspiring. Clay, wood, concrete — they’re all forms of creation.

How It All Connects

Each of our businesses supports and inspires the others.

📸 I create photo and video content that helps showcase both pottery and construction projects.
🏺 The pottery studio becomes a creative backdrop for shoots, social content, and collaborations.
🪚 The construction side provides the craftsmanship and structure that influence both our artistic and professional worlds.

Together, it’s a balance of art and work, visuals and materials, storytelling and making. That’s the heartbeat of everything we do.

Why We Love What We Do

Cache Valley has given us the space to grow, build, and create — surrounded by mountains, small businesses, and people who care deeply about their craft.

We believe in working with local makers, business owners, and dreamers who are passionate about what they do. Whether it’s building a home, creating art, or growing a brand, the goal is the same: make something that matters.

Let’s Create Something Together

If you’re a small business owner, creative, or entrepreneur in Logan, Cache Valley, Preston, or beyond, we’d love to connect. Whether you need brand visuals, a handcrafted mug, or a home built from the ground up, we’ve got a place for you here.
