Videographer and Photographer in Hyrum, Utah
Here's what I've noticed driving the south end of the valley: the businesses in Hyrum with the most interesting work have the least of it online. A machine shop has a Facebook page with a logo and a phone number, and inside there's a guy with a plasma cutter that a thousand people would stop scrolling to watch.
Hyrum
What businesses in Hyrum usually need.
I'm Sarah Rasmussen, Sarah Rasmussen Productions is my commercial photo and video company in Smithfield, and a lot of what I film is people working with their hands. You don't need a marketing idea. You need someone to point a camera at the work that's already happening.
- Process footage, not talking heads. The weld, the repair, the tack, the load going out. For a trade, the work is the proof.
- The town, the truck and the sign in the frame, so a viewer knows "this person is twenty minutes from me" before they read a word.
- A dim bay lit to look like a workshop instead of a garage.
- A short interview with whoever runs the place, so the brand video has a voice.
- Drone footage over the yard, the fields or the lot, flown under my Part 107 certificate.
From a shoot
Nobody staged this.
The frames I use to show trades and ag owners what I mean come from a Hemsley Ranch shoot: tacking up a horse, checking a saddle, loading the trailer, the branded truck parked in the corner of the frame while the real work happens in the middle. The wear on the leather says more about the operation than a paragraph of text could. Swap in your welder, your combine or your fence stretcher and the same list holds. A shoot day starts early, before the shop is loud, and ends with one edited video plus a folder of clips that covers months of posts.

Pricing
What it costs in Hyrum.
A brand story film starts at $1,200: concept, script, one shoot day, edit with one revision and social cutdowns. First-time clients can start smaller with a $950 Brand Kickoff Session, one hour in the shop for 50 edited photos and two short videos. Hyrum is well inside the stretch of Cache Valley I drive every week, so travel is included.
