A commercial usually takes eight to ten weeks from the first call to air date, and about four when decisions come quickly.

FAQ

Restaurant video questions.

How long does it take to make a commercial?
About eight to ten weeks from the first call to air date if nobody rushes, and it can be done in about four when decisions come quickly.
How long should a restaurant ad be?
On TV, a 30 second spot with a 15 second cut of the same footage. On Instagram and Facebook, 6 to 15 seconds, vertical, with the food or a face in the first frame.
Do we have to close?
No. I shoot at your restaurant around your quiet time, and customers can keep coming in.
Can I use a popular song?
Not without licenses that usually cost more than the shoot. Every video I make uses fully licensed music.
Do we need actors?
Usually not. Your team and your customers are more convincing than actors, and I'll direct them so it feels natural.
Do you travel outside Cache Valley?
Yes. Southern Idaho has no travel fee. Ogden, Davis County and Salt Lake shoots add a travel fee, quoted up front.

A 15-minute call is enough to know what to shoot, what it costs and when you'll have it.
